The technical co-ordination of the work and the validation of results is performed by a Management Committee which shall have 12 members for the foundation act of HGI only.

The Management Committee takes decisions upon request by a Technical Working Group to approve the technical document issued by the Technical Committee . This approval is taken by a simple Majority of fifty (50) percent of its members plus one. In the case this majority is not reached, the Technical Working Group will have to reconsider the submitted document upon the guidance provided by the Management Council
In case of a disagreement with the decision being taken by a Technical Working Group and prior to the final submission to the Management Council, any Principal Member may appeal to the Management Committee to overturn the decision taken within the Technical Working Group : this overturn decision should be approved by the qualified majority of two thirds (2/3) of the Management Committee to effectively overturn the decision. Management Committee shall then provide clear guidance to the TC on which way to go towards a new decision.
