2009 Test Events
 

This page provides public information about the 2009 HGI Test Event.

This very successful HGI event was held in Lannion, France at the laboratory of France Telecom, from September 28 – October 2, 2009.

During the event, HGI vendors of home gateways and reference designs for home gateways brought their products for testing. The test plan covered HG performance, quality of service, energy efficiency, multiple sessions handling, and other aspects. Each vendor selected the tests for which their HG would be evaluated.

An auditing committee delegated by the HGI Management Committee audited each test result. Each participating company received a detailed audit report describing the results for each test, including pass/fail and numerical scores where appropriate
