4 key events catch latest developments of the Home Gateway Initiative

The Home Gateway Initiative is proud to announce its endorsement and support to four important events in the broadband home domain that will take place in the coming months. These events will all feature presentations given by the HGI CTO-CBO Paolo Pastorino or other key HGI representatives.

The IEC Broadband World Forum Europe (Madrid, 3-6 October 2005) http://www.iec.org/events/2005/bbwf/ will bring together executives within carrier and supplier companies throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to learn the business models, deployment strategies, and rollout practices that have proven successful in making mass-market broadband in Europe a reality.

During the same month another two events will see the HGI represented:

  • the OSGi World Congress (11-14 October 2005 Paris, France) http://www.osgiworldcongress.com will host both the Developer Forum and the World Congress that give you all the news about the latest trends and developments in OSGi technology; and
  • the Connected Home conference (25-26 October 2005, London, UK)
http://www.the-connected-home.co.uk will provide a unique opportunity to build upon the messages of 2004 and bring together the content and entertainment industry with the technologists and service providers, recognising consumer demand for multi-room entertainment as the key to market growth.

In November the NetAtHome conference (November 29 & 30, 2005, Nice, France) http://www.net-athome.com will cover the entire connected home domain thus giving participants a level of overall understanding of the domain and of its markets.

Please do not miss these important events during which you will get the newest and the latest information about HGI developments and results!
